Fresh fish can be ordered online and delivered straight to your door. We can guarantee full traceability for our responsibly sourced, sustainable seafood.
Fresh Fish Boxes
Your fish box contains 10 portions of five different species of fish. A selection of Whitefish portions (Hake or Cod), Whitefish fillets (Haddock, Pollack or Whiting), Cornish flat fish (Plaice, Sole etc), Oily fish (Salmon, Sardines or Mackerel) and a Pie Mix (A mixture of Cornish white diced fish.) will make up this box. The species selected by our fish buyer, will depend on fish seasonality and market availability (weather and tides). This box will provide five meals for two people, all fish will come Labelled, filleted and vacuum packed ready for cooking or freezing.
When fresh is not available we will use our own blast frozen fish, this happens very occasionally if the weather is poor for a prelonged period.
Your Fish Box contains x4 Hake Portions, x4 Pollock Portions, x4 Plaice Fillet Portions, x4 Salmon Fillet Portions, 1kg Fish Pie Mix, 500g Cornish Fish Goujons. The species will depend on fish seasonality and market availability (weather and tides). This box will provide ten meals for two people, all fish will come Labelled, filleted and vacuum packed ready for cooking or freezing. If a species is not available we will replace for a suitable alternative and we will contact you via email.

Average 400g whole fish will feed one person.
Its mild and sweet flesh compliments any flavour and is also great cooked in light batter. Plaice range from 350g to 2kg in size, great served on the bone, top skinned or filleted. Best avoided when in roe (February to April), as the flesh can become thin. If unavailable a suitable alternative would be Lemon Sole, Dover Sole or Megrim Sole.
A simple lemon and parsley butter will bring out the wonderful flavour of Plaice.
Approximately 1kg of fish will feed up to four people.
Squid will always be cleaned, resulting in the weight being reduced (approx. 1kg of whole squid will give you 500g).
Available late summer to December, squid is at its best from October to March. It has a firm texture and strong flavour and can range in size from 100g to 1kg. Sold cleaned and prepared leaving the body (or tube) and tentacles.
So much to be done with this wonderful fish; try it with chilli, salt, lime, pepper, capers, chorizo and garlic. If you fancy something a little different, we would recommend squid with brandy cream, or in a smoky paprika and tomato stew.

A popular prime fish, Lemon Sole have a sweet delicate flesh perfect for any sole recipe and will compliment most flavours. Lemon Sole ranges from 225g to 1kg in size, perfect served on the bone and great for filleting. While found in the Eastern Atlantic and North Sea, Lemon Sole from the Cornish South Coast of England are generally considered the best. If unavailable a suitable alternative would be Plaice, Dover Sole or Megrim Sole.
Dust skinned Lemon Sole with a black peppered flour, serve with lemon butter and enjoy with a glass of prosecco.
Average 750g whole fish.
Found around the UK and Mediterranean, Gurnard can range in size from 350g to 2.5kg. Although bony, it has a really good flavour, with firm textured flesh and takes on strong flavours. As with all our fish, we will always get the very best for our customers and is well worth a try.
Gurnard compliments green vegetables and is popular in stews and soups. This brilliant fish can be made in to fish cakes; taking well to Thai flavours, lime and chillies such as jalapenos.
